5 Easy Steps to Build Your Own Computer

Whether you’re a college student, a computer designer, or simply looking to learn a new skill; you can learn to build your own computer.  Here are 5 easy steps to building your own computer:

  1. Begin by determining what you want to do with your computer.  What is the primary purpose it will serve?  This will help you to determine which components you need to include and which components won’t make much difference in the end result.  If you have never built a computer before it is important to take the time to do some research to learn about computers, the various components, and how these components work together.  You might also want to do research about individual computer components so that you have an understanding of their function and purpose in the computer.
  2. Design y our computer.  On paper create a list or a diagram of the different components you will need to complete you computer build.  The items listed will include specifics about the motherboard, the processor, offer a list or selection of hard drives you are considering such as the  hua723030ala640, the amount of memory you are planning to install, and other features such as the video card, accessory drives, and even information about the monitor you want to attach.  With this design you can then begin shopping for individual components.
  3.   5. Finally, with your computer up and running it’s time to add any additional components or features you want.  Some of the additional upgrades include adding CD or CD-Writable drives, SD card drives, or USB ports.   In addition you may want to attach a scanner, a printer, or other accessory device.

As you work through these steps to design and build your own computer, you’ll experience a great sense of accomplishment.  When you turn on a computer you build by yourself and begin to use it.
